Genesis: ApéroChic was born in Toronto in the Fall of 2011, created by  La Parisienne. Her idea was to initiate a monthly informal evening, starting just after work hours, to share a glass and experiences, meeting friends and new people and even a dance for those who wanted it. Estelle Saint-Martin joined La Parisienne a few months later, helping her to continue and further develop this new” rendez-vous”. Every month since then, the attendance has grown (200 attendees for each event).

Members: ApéroChic members are sophisticated professionals in their thirties and over from different industries (incl. Advertising, Bay Street, Consular Corps… ) who want to socialize, to take a step out of the routine and have a little mid-week fun once a month.
The evenings are internationally open, it’s not only a French speaking event. Half English speakers, half francophones but all Francophile…But it’s true, ApéroChic has a French touch and wants to bring a little bit of French culture and French tastes like the traditional aperitif, in Toronto.

Monthly Event: ApéroChic is trying to pick a chic venue every month. So far we attended: Peridot Lounge, Pravda, Ocho, Biaggio, C Lounge and some VIP events at the Spoke Club ans Spice Route.

Our dress code is “simply chic”.
